Cross House East was recently renovated and extended. The cottage is 1 mile from Bridgend and next door to Cross House West. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom and a double, along with a bathroom and walk in shower. Upstairs, the bedroom suite has an ensuite shower room. The extension to the original building houses the open plan kitchen, sitting and dining room.

Inside the House

The kitchen area is modern with gas cooking and a comfortable breakfasting bar. There is a dining table with space for 8 diners. There are comfortable sofas giving views to the side over Lochindaal and through the rear doors over the garden. The room is light and stylish with a vaulted roof and underfloor heating. There is a stove for burning coal.

The bifold doors open out onto the patio and rear garden. The house stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

The downstairs double bedroom has a kingsize bed and built-in wardrobes. It has views over the loch to the front of the house. The twin room has bunk beds and a desk and built-in wardrobe.

The bathroom on the ground floor has a modern, freestanding bath and a walk-in shower.

The ground floor rooms have comfortable underfloor heating.

Upstairs the master bedroom has a King size bed. There is a flat-screen smart TV and an exposed stone gable wall. Velux windows provide light and views in all directions. The ensuite has a large shower with constant hot water.

The house is heated via an oil-fired boiler with underfloor heating downstairs and designer radiators upstairs. The boiler provides the constant hot water for showers and baths.

Outside the House

Cross House East has a large paved and lawned area to the rear of the house. To the side and front there are pebbled areas allowing you to sit and enjoy the sun at all times of the day. The garden is safe and secure with chairs and benches.

There is a short walk to the beach across the grass and, although Cross House East and West are attached, they do not face each other and the gardens are sheltered and private.

There is private parking outside the house.

Bridgend is only 1 mile away where there is a well-stocked general store.
